Mrs. Laxmi Sharma ( DOB: 1951 December 18 ) Maharajgung, Kathmandu, Nepal first woman Auto Rickshaw driver of the world (started driving from 1985 A.D). She has been appreciated by the Federation of Handicraft Association of Nepal, Mukti Nepal, Shanti Bikas Abhiyan, and Government of Nepal women, Children, and Social Welfare. She received ‘The Leading Women Entrepreneurs of the World TM 2000’ award in Venice, Italy organized by the Star Group of USA.
